Svyatovit Raises the Bar

So Svyatovit did it again… the boys over at Svyatovit from Belarus have put their telescopic boom excavator on the back of a multi-purpose vehicle.  Looks from the pictures that the machine can swim too.  Possibly they tweaked the boom too using it as a paddle.

I would say they have raised the bar for the teams over at Gradall and Badger.  What’s next Gradall putting theirs on top of a M1A.

JLG Rebrands Gradall Rear Pivot Steer Telehandlers

Break out the spray paint…It was only a matter of time but JLG has rebranded the Gradall Rear Pivot Steer Telehandlers.  The history of the Telehandler line is unique and the power the brand has brought to JLG is truly awesome.  The design and engineering innovation of this machine has moved throughout their entire line of machines.

“The Gradall name has been an icon in the telehandler industry for decades, with a reputation built on reliability and performance. We’re maintaining all the finest qualities of the Gradall name and product, including the famous blue color, but will begin branding these models under the JLG name,” said Kirsten Skyba, VP – Global Marketing, JLG Industries. “The same number of models will be available and the equipment will continue to be built, serviced and sold with the high level of quality inherent in all JLG products.”

Tunneling Excavator?

Anyone have any ideas on the specific application for this boom? I would say that it is for mine applications.  Looks like it has pivot capabilities that you would find in a Gradall Mine Excavator?
