Modellismo Maximo - RC Power

Tunneling Excavator by Schaeff-Terex

Schaeff-Terex  developed and launched a few years back a versatile, robust tunnel excavator to be used for demanding and efficient tunnel heading.   What is amazing is that this machine looks like the CAT one we tracked last march and competes against the likes of the Gradall XL5110.

Caterpillar® Center-Lock™ Pin-Grabber Coupler

The new Caterpillar Center-Lock Pin-Grabber coupler for Cat® hydraulic excavator models 311 through 385 uses a patented over-center locking mechanism and two hydraulic locking features to assure positive work-tool attachment. The new over-center locking technology promotes jobsite safety and allows operators to quickly, simply and confidently engage and disengage work tools regardless of boom and stick position. The Center-Lock coupler accommodates the same range of Cat work tools as previous pin-grabber couplers, as well as a broad range of other brands of buckets and tools.

Volvo Launches Third Model in Short Swing Excavator Class

Press Release from VCE: Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has introduced the Volvo ECR305CL, short swing radius excavator to the North America market, the third of its class within the last 12 months. The new product range was developed by Volvo to fill a rapidly growing need for short swing excavators on congested worksites and in confined areas. The first two models in the new series, the Volvo ECR145CL and Volvo ECR235CL, were delivered to the market in early 2008.
