Grip-Lug® Grouser Bars for Rebuilding Track Shoes

Allied Construction Products, LLC has announced its 65th Anniversary and the special recognition of its first-ever product developed– the Grip-Lug grouser bar. It was introduced in 1942 during WW II when Americans were conserving everything from scrap iron to tin cans.

Grip-Lug was an innovative technique to rebuild worn crawler tracks by using a rolled steel bar welded to the worn grousers extending the life of the track itself. Re-grousing not only helped conserve steel, but the process also eliminated the need to replace track shoes. Grip-Lug is still sold today.

Bobcat Upgrades Undercarriages

Bobcat Company announced earlier this month the roller suspension system option and an improvement to the undercarriage of large-frafme compact track loaders. The new roller suspension system is now available as an option on the Bobcat® T250 and T300 compact track loaders, in addition to the T320. Bobcat has also improved the design of the solid-mount undercarriage on the T250, T300 and T320.
