John Deere Introduces Series II ADTs With Exclusive Onboard Weighing System, Cab Changes
John Deere has introduced four new Series II Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs), featuring exclusive onboard weighing systems, tire pressure monitoring systems, and a host of control and cab changes designed to enhance comfort and productivity.
Caterpillar will offer a family of articulated truck bare chassis to support specialty machines not included in the portfolio of Cat products. Sales of the bare chassis without the dump bed will be targeted toward Caterpillar® Dealers and original equipment manufactures (OEMs) who specialize in such applications as water trucks, high capacity waste, lube & fuel trucks, etc. Cat® Articulated Dump Trucks will continue to be sold through Caterpillar Dealers around the world.

Doosan Infracore takes over Norwegian heavy construction equipment manufacturer Moxy
On August 18, Doosan Infracorereported that DIEU, its subsidiary in Europe, signed a contract for taking over Moxy Engineering AS, a Norwegian business specializing in the production of ADTs, for €55 million (= 85.3 billion won) in connection with its bid to make a foray into the large-sized mining equipment market amid the expansion of the world heavy construction equipment market.
Moxy, located in Molde along Norway’s west coast, owns the source technology for 23 ~ 46 ton-class ADTs, and has networks for 61 dealers in Europe and North America, in addition to local sales corporations and R&D centers in the U.S. and the U.K.
