With the introduction of the new, hydraulic sideboom option, initially available on models D85B and D95B, New Holland provides contractors with the flexibility they need to meet the growing demand for pipeline construction across North America.The attachment offers a lift capacity of 20,000 lbs. and features a three lever hydraulic control system which permits the operator simultaneous control of load and boom functions. This easy-to-operate system greatly reduces training time and increases operator safety.

The 15 foot sideboom conveniently folds for ease of transportation, and two extendable counterweight segments, each 1,120 lbs, can be easily removed for shipping. While the counterweights add maximum stability, the attachment’s low and compact design guarantees optimum balance and control as well excellent visibility, so the operator can concentrate on the job at hand.

Quick release hinge pins allow for easy boom removal and maintenance, perfectly complementing the dozer’s outstanding serviceability. The New Holland crawler dozers are the only machines in their size class to have an easy-tilt platform for convenient access that allows daily maintenance to be done from ground level.
